Group

BusinessRescueExpert Group brings together specialist businesses helping company directors deal with financial difficulty, formal insolvency, business recovery and connected-party transactions in administration. Our roots are in Robson Scott Associates Limited, established in 2005.

Each brand has a clear focus. BusinessRescueExpert principally supports directors in England and Wales, Lennox Insolvency focuses on Scotland, TRE provides turnaround and restructuring advice, and Admin Eval specialises in evaluator reports.

specialist brands

BusinessRescueExpert helps directors assess company rescue and closure options, principally in England and Wales. Our services include creditors’ voluntary liquidation, members’ voluntary liquidation, administration and company voluntary arrangements.

Lennox Insolvency supports directors of Scottish companies with insolvency and business rescue advice informed by Scottish procedures. Its Glasgow office provides a point of contact for directors and professional advisers.

TRE supports directors with turnaround and restructuring, including reviewing business viability, managing cashflow pressures and negotiating with creditors. Eamonn Wall and Kevin Pinkerton lead its advisory work.

Admin Eval provides independent evaluator reports for connected-party purchasers in administration transactions. An evaluator must meet the eligibility and independence requirements for the particular transaction, including independence from the administrator.

People

behind the group

Eamonn Wall founded BusinessRescueExpert. He brings experience in insolvency and running businesses, and co-leads TRE’s turnaround and restructuring work with Kevin Pinkerton.

Kevin Pinkerton leads the North West office and co-leads TRE. He is a licensed insolvency practitioner with a background in restructuring and insolvency law. Kevin’s insolvency practitioner number is 9622 and he is licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Christopher Horner is an Insolvency Director based in Darlington and a licensed insolvency practitioner. His work includes liquidations and administrations, including Scottish appointments. Chris’s insolvency practitioner number is 16150 and he is licensed by the Insolvency Practitioners Association.

Gareth Hunt is a licensed insolvency practitioner in the North West team and takes formal insolvency appointments. His insolvency practitioner number is 19132 and he holds an insolvency licence with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
